BeOutMeta focuses on simple utilities for image metadata, PDF properties, image size, compression and format conversion. The core philosophy is to process supported files locally in the browser whenever practical.
Why local processing matters
Traditional file tools often upload a file to a remote application server. Browser APIs now make many common operations possible on the device itself. That can reduce unnecessary transfer of the source file and make the workflow faster for small and medium files.
What we do not promise
No generic metadata tool can guarantee forensic sanitization of every file format. We explain limitations and recommend professional redaction or review for highly sensitive records.
Editorial approach
Our guides are written to answer practical questions around EXIF, GPS, PDFs and web image preparation. We aim to avoid fear-based privacy claims and instead explain what a tool changes, what it leaves alone, and when a different workflow is appropriate.
