The tool reads each PDF in your browser, copies its pages into a new document and then creates a downloadable PDF. Source-level document metadata is not carried into the merged file, which helps avoid mixing author or title fields from multiple originals.
Name your source files clearly and select them in the order you want. If the originals contain forms, unusual interactive features or digital signatures, keep the originals because combining documents can change how those features behave.
Because merging happens on your device, available memory and browser performance matter. Very large documents may work better in a desktop PDF application. BeOutMeta recommends keeping the total selected batch below roughly 180 MB.
There is no fixed file-count limit in the interface, but browser memory is the practical limit. Smaller batches are more reliable.
The merged document is created as a new PDF and source-level document metadata is not carried into it.
Not unless the browser library can open them without a password. Unlock protected PDFs first in a trusted application.
